Fresh Batch Label

Terms of use

Effective October 27, 2026.

1. Who we are

Fresh Batch Label is operated by KPR Serviços em Tecnologia da Informação LTDA, a company registered in Brazil under CNPJ 48.238.016/0001-63, Rua Luiz Barbosa de Campos, 142, apt. 114, Jardim Alvorada, São Carlos, SP, 13562-330, Brazil ("we"). Write to us at contato.kprstudio@gmail.com. By downloading a label or otherwise using the site, you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the site. The site is for people 18 or older who make or sell food as a business; you use it for that business, not as a consumer.

2. What the service does

You type a recipe and the site calculates a Nutrition Facts label in the format and with the rounding rules of the US Food and Drug Administration (21 CFR 101.9), using nutrient values from USDA FoodData Central or the values you enter. It also builds a "Contains" allergen statement from your answers to the allergen checklist and a report of how each number was calculated. The calculation runs in your browser.

3. Not an approval, not advice

The FDA does not approve food labels or label software, and neither the FDA nor the USDA is connected with us. The site is a calculation tool. It is not legal, regulatory or nutrition advice, and it does not tell you whether your business must have a Nutrition Facts label or may claim an exemption.

4. You are responsible for your label

The company that makes or sells a food is responsible for its label. Before you print or sell, you must check the label against your recipe, your process and your suppliers' specifications. Database values are averages and can differ from your product, and the FDA judges a label by the values it declares. Some products need a laboratory analysis to be declared accurately. The allergen statement only repeats your answers: you must check every ingredient, including spices, flavorings and sub-ingredients, for the major food allergens.

5. No warranty

The site and its results are provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, we make no warranty, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement, that the results are accurate, complete or compliant with any law, or that the site will always work.

6. Limits on our liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, nor, in any case, for recalls, relabeling, fines, lost profits or lost business, arising from your use of the site or of a label it produced. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or US$50. Nothing in these terms limits a liability or a right that the law of your country does not allow to be limited, including the rights of consumers.

7. Your promise to us

Where the law allows, you will cover our reasonable costs if a third party makes a claim against us because of a label you published or sold, unless the claim results from an error in the site's calculation, our breach of these terms, or our negligence or willful misconduct.

8. Fair use

Do not use the site for anything unlawful, try to break or overload it, or copy its database or software in bulk.

9. Prices

Downloads are free while we launch. If we start charging, the price of a paid download will be shown before you pay; payment will be handled by a payment reseller whose terms we will show at checkout, and these terms will be updated with the payment and refund rules before anyone is charged.

10. Ownership

We own the site and its software. Your recipes are yours: they stay in your browser and the site never sends them to us. You may use the labels you create for your products. USDA FoodData Central data is in the public domain.

11. Changes

We may change the site or these terms. The new terms will be posted here with a new effective date and apply from that date. A purchase is governed by the terms in effect when you made it.

12. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of Brazil, and disputes go to the courts of São Carlos, São Paulo, Brazil, except where the law of your country gives you the right to bring a claim where you live.
